ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest, SouthEastern European Region

We would like to congratulate Alexandru Okros (1^st year), Rainer Retzler (2^nd year), and Giulia Stef ( 2^nd year) which represented UPT at the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest, SouthEastern European Region (10^th-13^rd of October, 2013).

Their team (CoffeScript) ranked 22^nd from a total of 79 teams from the entire south-east of Europe (Bulgaria, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine). We mention that they are the 4^th team from Romania (from 24 Romanian teams) and the 1^st one outside Bucharest, representing the best result of an UPT team in the last years.
